I was reading back over my info from them and they say that in thin women who were high school athletes it throws off the ratio of testosterone to estrogen and that can set PCOS in motion. I think what I'm frustrated about is that sure they say it can cause diabetes and statistically it really does, but my dietician told me that even the diabetic PCOS people she sees don't have low blood sugar.

I find it really odd that the fertility place told you about skinny people get PCOS from working out. No offense but what drugs are they taking?? Huh. I have dealt with PCOS all of my life. It is something that you are born with. It effects everyone differently. A big part for me was my thyroid was off along with my vitamin B12. There is a misconception about women who have PCOS has problems with there sugar. That isn't the case either. Yes it can lead into problems but not always. What helped me was metformin. Which oddly enough is for someone who has diabetes. I have posted about my struggle with PCOS.

Give it a penis.
Diseases that do something to the penis ALWAYS get attention.
As far as drops go, the only type I personally have used with my thyroid issues (because sometimes they sting SO BAD) is Simalasin. It is homeopathic and when kept in the fridge, can bring much relief.
As far as getting attention for a thyroid issue, tie it to the penis and add Viagra prescriptions...that ought to do it.

Hi
Well I have been going through graves for about 5 years now with no resolution until I started acupuncture. I am allergic to the few medications that the doctors give you storm like reactions. I stopped seeing my doctor which wouldnt even take my calls and started going to the acupuncture a real known acupuncture here in Texas. I went through irritability, lack of sex, mood swings really bad and so on. The first time I went to the acupuncture I felt a big difference afterwards, I went a second time and my heart was hurting at the end of it and my chest had alot of pressure. My heart hurt for a day after but I see my goiter is reduced on my neck. My pulse hasnt had any difference but I started a herb in form of a pill for my stress and my mood swings and mentrual cycle which I saw a big difference with. So with lack of money also I will try to go again because she said I wont see any difference until the 3rd visit. I was really down at everything from what the doctors told me (mind you I have seen 5 doctors) and they all said surgery was to dangerous and the pills they just wanted me to take less of which wouldnt help so now i found acupuncture and I am wondering if anyone else has gone to acupuncture and it has helped them. I have three kids who are under 7 so keeping up with them just wears me out in the middle of the day and I have a very hard time getting up in the morning also. I would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions and it feels good to know that I am not alone in this struggle that the doctors dont want to pursue.

"relaxing the whole neuroendocrine system" can be an effect of acupuncture, and there are acupuncturists who are doing nothing but releasing endorphins into the body. But that's not all acupuncture is capable of. Matter and energy are really the same thing, yes? Einstein said that matter tells space how to curve, and space tells matter how to move. There is an energetic blueprint or template, if you will, that informs the human body how to be. When the template becomes distorted, the tissues become distorted in form or function or both. Restore the energetic template, and the tissues MUST come in line with it, given the nutritive raw materials that are needed. (Leaving aside the issue of the template being exhausted or damaged beyond repair.) This is the real "secret" of acupuncture, not merely calming the sympathetic and engaging the parasympathetic nervous system.
